Scott draws on a lifelong involvement in athletics to
inform his massage practice. He has been an endurance athlete for 19
years, having competed in hundreds of triathlons, cycling
events, ski races,and running races, even captaining his high school track and cross
country teams. Scott is has raced 12 Birkebeiner
ski marathons, and in 2008, he finished in 2 hours and 48 minutes skiing from Wave One for the first time.
Tai-Chi has been a regular part of Scott's training for 16 years.
Scott became a believer in the power of massage when he discovered the
benefits of therapeutic bodywork first-hand 15 years ago. Scott has relied on massage to keep
him healthy and injury-free since high school.
Scott is passionate about wellness and fitness,
especially cross-country skiing and swimming. He has held positions as Nordic
Skiing Head Coach at The Blake School and Assistant Coach at Patrick
Henry High School, and has taught swimming classes at the
Blaisdell YMCA.
